About Me / Us
Adu - Asamoah Emmanuel was born in the year 1988. He was born in Accra - Ghana by Mr. Robert Kofi Asamoah (the late) and Madam Rose Domenah. He is from Akim Oda in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He has succesfully completed his senior high education at Action Senior High School popularly known as Action Progressive Institute. He is a member of the Ogbojo SDA church.
His Hobbies
During his leisure time, he is found singing and making some art work (drawing). Moreover, he is found of reading story books. In fact he likes singing a lot, most often you will find him on the streets singing. He was a baritone singer in a certain group called the levites.
More On Levites
As I have already said levites singing group was formed on 18th December, 2005 and the first song we learnt was on 18th December, 2005, the day the quartet was formed. The song was entitled 'woye nyame' (you are God) from Mark Anim Yirenkyi and the Delivarance Singers a great quartet group in Ghana, we rehearsed on it from Monday to Friday and we sang it at church on 24th December 2005 (Saturday), that was our first performance. The voice quality at that time wasn't great by then, but by the grace of God we have improved. From that time we have learnt a lot of songs from different artistes. We have gone to a lot of programmes and people like us a lot due to the type of song we sing and our voice quality. We thank God for bringing us this far. Amen.
About The Levites
The levites is a group formed by Richmond Oduah on the 18th December 2005 with a minimum membership of 5 peoples. Actually, it is a quartet group. Here are the names of its members:
Seth K. Owusu [leader and tenor vocalist]
Michael Osei - Owusu [assistant leader and bass vocalist]
Richmond Oduah [baritone vocalist]
Marilyn Oduah [alto vocalist] and Joyce Appiah [supporting alto vocalist].
They are very good in singing. There are two quartets in the church, namely levites and advent melodians the senior quartet.
About Advent Melodians
Advent melodian is a quartet formed many years ago and it has 4 peoples as members. They are:
Isaac Kwaakye [leader and baritone vocalist]
Stephen Oduah [bass vocalist]
Benjamin Asare [tenor vocalist]
Richmond Oduah [alto vocalist].
They are the senior quartet group at Ogbojo S.D.A church and they are very good in singing. They have composed about 22 songs, 8 of which they have completed and the rest in the process of completion. They have a song which I love very much, it is entitled "siesie woho" which means prepare yourself. They are praying that by the end of this year they will bring their first album out.
